At the heart of the concert is the trumpet of Giovanni Amato, renowned for his assertive swing and fluid bebop phrasing, supported by piano, double bass, and drums. A conservatory graduate with a long-standing career spanning major Italian and international jazz clubs and festivals, Amato leads a quartet in which the strong rapport among the musicians enhances a repertoire that blends tradition and modernity, offering an elegant, dynamic jazz sound deeply rooted in the tradition.
